A twist on this rare event.

A transit of Hubble with a transit of Venus.

Some people have some very nice equipment out there. I assume he's using some sort of hydrogen filter.

Some bad news, I'm afraid. The majority of the video clips that I had recorded on my laptop that described what was going on, or provided extra information were badly corrupted and unusable, so the video isn't going to be completed. To say that I'm disappointed about it is a vast understatement. I wanted to cry, and to bash the laptop into tiny bits. :( I could probably re-shoot a few of them using the desktop computer, but that just doesn't seem right, for some reason. Drat. Drat DRAT DRAT!!!!!

Yeah, I'm rather bummed about it. They must have become corrupted when I transferred them from the laptop to the desktop.

I'd say maybe next time, but that's a bit later than I'll likely be able to wait for. :(

There is, however, a total eclipse in 2017 that will pass directly over my Niece's home in Kentucky (I may have mentioned it before) that I'm planning on attending, and I'm likely to have better equipment at that time. We'll just have to see. :)
