BTW the laser is for adaptive/corrective optics. One is software and one is distorting the mirrors, can never remember which way round.

Found this cool APOD pic of a few days ago called Arp 188 and the Tadpole's Tidal Tail

Nice to see gravity in action. There's a smaller galaxy (lower right) that has a jet from its center. Cool.

They are all good, but the first one "A Dark Dune Field in Proctor Crater on Mars" is the oddest.

Didn't have a clue what it was until I read about it.

I read an article of this lego version and the guy who built it had to design his own differential gears to get the right ratios, then send plans to lego to get them to make them.
