Title: Asteroid Database
Post by: Snowcrash on August 04, 2014, 22:10:26 PM
There's a database of asteroids (http://www.asterank.com/) and how profitable they'd be.

Now all we need is space mining tech to take off. Pun intended.

We're already working on that, actually. There's a company called Planetary Resources (http://www.planetaryresources.com/) that has been developing The ARKYD Space Telescope (http://www.planetaryresources.com/products/). They even have a Kickstarter Project (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arkydforeveryone/arkyd-a-space-telescope-for-everyone-0) that I've contributed about $100USD to. It's a really fascinating project, and I'm really excited about it. I think the prospects are enormous, and I feel that this represents a huge potential step in our journey toward the stars. :)
