Not my kind of car but it looks good for a lot of people, guess it would be great in the snow which I do like.

£100 a week cheaper to run than the diesel equivalent, far less noise and pollution, less servicing required, what's not to like about it :scratch-head:

Snowcrash

For £10 a week more on lease/hire (inc. sweeteners no doubt) and built in Britain.

Yeah I forgot to mention the TX cab is made in Britain, good point

Also all the digital gadgets in it, fantastic, a cab for the 21st century  8)

This video popped up on YouTube, if you listen very carefully you can just about hear the sound of a penny dropping inside Clarkson's head.

I like the way Clarkson says that you never get the advertised range stated by the manufacturer but forgets to mention the MPG advertised by the ICE car manufacturers in "perfect conditions" is just as flawed.  :no-no:

Anyway I seriously enjoyed watching it drag race against the Audi R8 V10 600 HP noise making machine. I think the Tesla does cost a few quid more than a full spec R8 but the Tesla just gives you more. You get what you pay for  :)

Link above doesn't work for me. Taken down?

Here's the latest from VW on Fully Charged.

Yes it was taken down but I've found another copy of the video, quality isn't as good on the copy though. See how long that one stays up  ;)

Yeah I wasn't sure if I should reply to that, what I want to say might not go down well, Oh what the hell, I will try to keep it balanced, fair and correct.

Wow! the misleading diesel emissions and monkey fumigator company are really trying hard to fix their reputation, now with 3 new environmentally friendly concept cars that can't be purchased yet, impressive  :-\

I think that is correct and fair, the links provide valuable information.

Thanks for posting the vid Snowy, you made my life a bit easier  :)

Lots of reviews out there for the new Leaf but I really liked this one, these guys have had EVs for years and do know their stuff.

Well worth watching.

They do mention
monkeys
once but I think they got away with it  ;)

Carl2

Nice vid, guess it will keep me up to date on the e cars, Guess it will be a few years before they begin selling around here.

Watch your back Tesla the Jaguar I-PACE has arrived  :sign-go-team:

Snowcrash

Jag will only sell 1 for every 10-100 Teslas I reckon.

Which will break down 1st and what are their ranges would be better info.

Jag is £64k and "Up to 298 miles WLTP*"

How long is a piece of string ?

My Dad used to say that when one of us children asked a silly question. :) Thanks for the flashback, Data. Remembering my Dad is almost always a good time.
