here is a pretty cool site, it is flash and takes some time to load. The intro mini movie is kinda cool, and shows how the future might become.

Pretty cool site, very clever marketing for the up-coming film.
It WILL be fine !...

One day all sites might be like that, going to need much faster connections though, I timed it, took 5 mins 10 seconds to load for me :o on 20 Mb connection.

But worth watching  :)

I liked it a lot and thought it was worthy of posting it here. I thought it was for an upcoming game though :scratch-head: I could of thought wrong

I hope all sites do not go completely flash like that one.
I love flash and working with flash, but slowness and content not being able to be fully seo, and a few other complaints make it not a feasible solution for a complete website. however if there was a HTML site along with the flash site that a user could choose is not a bad idea. but it is expensive for two sites to be built if one can not build them themselves.

I thought you would like it, However you surprised me  :o I did not think you would ever wait that long for a site to load.

Interesting, took only say half a minute to load for me.  Would like to see this film some time.  8)

Good god no, wouldn't want it to be Flash, maybe HTML8 or something  ;D

HTML8 :o  I'm still trying to properly use HTML5  :P
actually to be honest I have been so busy, I have not had time to design or code anything for my site.
I have got some great ideas boiling inside my brain though
I can't wait to begin building, Maybe I should use HTML8 this way I will not have to update 30 years from now  :P

I completely sympathize with the whole "too busy" thing. :)

Also, if you think HTML8 will take 30 years, you're in for a bit of a shock coming, I think. Try cutting that in 3, and refactoring. The limit of Moore's Law may be very nearly here, but the "Technology Snowball" is still gaining speed, and we'll see new and frightening... Er... wonderful... ways that computing power will advance. And with it, of course, will be the ways in which we utilize that power. I'd say HTML8 in 10 years or less. :P

Dave I do feel there definitely is not enough time in a day, Have we figured out how to slow time down yet  :P

you got me thinking and I think you are closer on the time frame than I was, 2.25 years for HTML before each update seems more feasible with technology advancing so quickly. But also don't forget, we will be having A.I. write all our code for us soon. who knows HTML may even be a thing of the past in 10 years from now  :scratch-head:

Snowcrash

We could have a pole on when do you think HTML8 will be launched?

So far that would be 2042 / 2022 / 2019 (added .25)
