Well done Andy Murray on winning Wimbledon. 77 years since Fred Perry, the last Britain, to win. Outstanding performance. 

(For the American's whom find it difficult to grasp our culture, had Andy have lost, he would have remained Scottish but, as he won, he is British.) 

We finally win the men's singles at Wimbledon. Does that mean there'll be a Andy Murray line of shirts for the next 70 years?

Still don't get too excited this victory might be short lived, come 2014 when the Scottish vote for independence they will probably demand that the victory goes to Scotland.

I see Alex Salmond is in trouble for taking an over sized Scottish flag into to Wimbledon, I hope they throw the book at him and lock him in the tower of London to consider his actions, and keep him there until 2015.

Well done Andy, the whole of Britain is very proud of you right now.  

I don't really watch the tennis, but I wish I had seen the final - went out in the sun instead and got back at the end.  Oh well, very nicely done Andy Murray
