I don't have a proper guess right now. The lyrics sound sooooo familiar, but nothing comes to mind, and I'm not ready to Google it yet. Lemme think on it a bit, and see if something shakes the dust off my RAM.

Ended up having to Google it, and I'm sure that I've never heard the song before, let alone the performer. I won't give it away, since I essentially cheated, but if everyone else has to cheat, then I win because I reported first.
