Title: Merry Christmas
Post by: Data on December 24, 2011, 11:52:35 AM
Christmas Eve is here, I like to think today is the day it all begins, the decorations go up and that Christmas feeling arrives in style.

Here's wishing a very Merry Christmas to all our members and guests.

Just waking up from a very late night of wrapping gifts and placing them under the tree (which, for me, is a full 24 hours ahead of schedule!).  Soon enough, there will be the final, insanely hectic, mad dash to get the house all clean and shiny, and ready to receive the dozens of family members and friends who will be gathering to share our love for one another, and participating in the nearly ancient family traditions that surround this time of year. Today is the day where all of the toil and effort of the previous year becomes worthwhile, and where the bonds of family and friendship are forged and strengthened.

May you all share in the love, joy and peace that this holiday season can bring, and may we all carry these feelings with us through today, into the new year, and beyond. May your most fervent wishes become reality, and may the Christmas turkey/ham/goose not be too dry. :)

A very Merry Christmas to one and all, however you choose to spend this time, may it be full of joy and happiness. :)

What a day I've had. One seriously Pi$%ed off teenager, whom C.B.A to get out of bed and then wondered why everyone had continued with their day without her, yeah right, all of our time revolves around you only. :P (All OK now though)

Once again, I received plentiful amounts of truly kind gifts from all.

Hang on, I'll be back with further up dates, just re-lit my Cigar using a candle and it's dripped wax all over my key board. SHIT. :'(

No, it's Ok, once youv'e broken the joins between the keys, it would appear that wax is quite a good lubricant.

Well, I know I did. And I learned a very valuable lesson in the process. When asked what you want for Christmas by the younger brother's new girlfriend, should you choose to reply in verse, be quite certain to pick the song you sing VERY carefully! :)

I'm not sure from the picture if you are showing us a new type of hotdog burger or if you have somehow hurt your hand.

Oh no I think it might be the latter,  Dave what happened?

And Diesel, I feel for ya mate.

EDIT:

Oh and check this out, Mrs Data got me a surprise present, a wind up super bright LED touch that is also a USB charger, so I can charge my phone or MP3 player from it, you can also charge the touch from a USB port, so it goes both ways.

It's a stuffed animal, called a "pillow pet", and it happens to be a Hippo. :) And cool toy, BTW (Just don't let the missus know it's a toy. :P )

Generally speaking, I don't shave from the end of September till the first week in March. The beard may get a trim or two in that time, but that's about it. :)

As for the other, I try to avoid allowing the stuffed animals and "action figures" access to sharp implements, due to safety concerns (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094862/). :)
