Title: RAW POWER
Post by: Diesel on August 22, 2012, 20:57:14 PM
We have all shown our love of all things Powerful, Boats, Cars, Planes, Rockets etc, but we don't have somewhere to post our favourite Vids, so I thought I would start this one.

Just take a look at this, it's quite long but just turn your speakers up.

Some nice rigs there

I think I was able to count the ignitions of each cylinder on the first one he had it timed so low. might start up faster on a cold start if it was advanced a tad bit.

Now, if I'm not mistaken this was filmed at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Enjoy.

Cool! They could roast hot dogs on the pipes and toast marshmellows at the flames (provided they didn't get blown off the sticks). Nice Raw Power!!

Quite possibly the least efficient hair dryer I have ever seen, but I like to see people thinking outside the box when it comes to technology and its uses  :P

Good vid Diesel

I began to really worry about the guy walking around between the trucks. If something were to let loose, he'd be worse off than me. :)

Hmm, I don't think they will pass their emissions tests but not to worry, a bottle of Cataclean should do the trick

Data, it's not actually the smoke that causes emmisions failures, it's what is in it. Judging by the state of the warm up of these machines, I would recommend a couple of bottles.  ;)

It's a pity the clip stop where it does, I for one, would have liked to have seen them trying to stop those machines. I would assume that reverse thrust would result in a new one being built after each run and chute's would melt from the Ram heat.  :scratch-head:

A little long this but I was astonished by the sheer beauty of these machines, particulary the Wrecker. Sweet.

Some of the comments claim that the second axle is a TAG, I very much doubt that because a TAG would be about as much use as an Arse Pocket in a Vest here,  :-\ more likely to be a 4x6.

Bet you couldn't do this as an indoor event.

How much smoke? Cool vid.

I wouldn't get anywhere near those open belts with a beard that long! You can see his beard move with the induction.

No smoke either.

I can't see any reason why not DD, if you simply remove the engine and gear-box, the bulk head, all the interior and the roof, then this Bad Boy should drop straight into the space provided.

HAve you seen the size of a Citroen C3 Syber, I don't think there would be room for that  ;D

I think there's a slim chance that the engine in the vid is larger in practically every dimension than the C3. :P Length, possibly not, but certainly the others. :D

Something to compare with... That is, of course, IF I got the right car. ;)

maybe the space under the bonnet (hood, for us Yanks) is an early example of a TARDIS?
