I'll start off with this one... (for 2)

1 avocado
1 pink grapefruit
2 sticks celery
1 large carrot
1 apple
4 teaspoons flax seeds
some cabbage (sweetheart)
4 table spoons Greek yogurt

so divide by 2 for per portion and whatever cabbage you like or substitute.

Okay my shopping for next week needs further work

I was wondering about some with vegetables in, so will try to get some of that for next week.

Sounds very interesting however I can no longer enjoy Pink Grapefruit now that I'm on a certain medication. In fact, no grapefruit at all. Oranges, pineapples, and other fruit are fair game so perhaps a bit of trial and error.

Is there a sugar free or reduced sugar ice-cream anyone can recommend?

I was thinking it would be nice blended with strawberries and kiwi fruit. Maybe a little mango.

Data

Alpro products are all good.

QuoteAlpro® Madagascan Vanilla is made from real Madagascan vanilla & soya, giving our ice cream its delicious rich taste & creaminess. With less sugars & saturated fats than the market reference in ice cream,

30% less sugars than the market reference.

Their 360 range is even lower calories I believe.

Probably plenty more options out there as well but we buy a lot of Alpro.

Thanks, will get some of that next week then

If no pink/red grapefruit (or not able to have) then a large orange is a fair substitute. The Greek yogurt we use is 0% sugar so if dairy is not a problem, it's a good option but feel free to change to what you like.

I just had my first one.

1 banana I used 2 smaller ones
80g strawberries & raspberries
150ml milk
1 tsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract

Basically this, without the oats, which I didn't have: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/two-minute-breakfast-smoothie

Not bad, I think I will try something with the yoghurt tomorrow. I think I will probably prefer the more citrus ones. Raspberries are okay but I don't like a lot of them uncooked.

Freddy

Tried experimenting today, this turned out nice:

approx. 75ml Natural Yogurt
approx. 75ml Milk
4 large strawberries
1 banana
1 tsp vanilla extract

Yum :)
