A great result in a nail biting finish to the first test match, the Aussies must be feeling well sick right now  :sign-evil-laugh: :yahoo:

I always thought that the first rule for any penalty kicker was to keep your studs in your boots, clearly not in Aus.

Let's hope it hurt more than just his ego.
It WILL be fine !...

Couple that to 4 injuries and the captain being cited I suspect the Aussies will be feeling raher down right now, not that I'm feeling at all smug  ::)

I did actually watch this game DD and apart for the first 10 mins of the second half, the Lions played astonishing Rugby throughout. Excellent support at the breakdown, top notch discipline, fast flowing Rugby and a record breaking score line as well.

It wasn't that the Aussies played badly, not at all, but they where playing against a team that could have beaten any opponent on the day. Well done to the Lions.

I had that conversation with a Maori friend of mine, he was very reluctant to believe that the Lions would have beaten the All Blacks on saturdy (they would have) it was a great game to watch the boy did us proud as did the 30,000 + Lions fans who travelled half way round the world to support them.
