Finally we have the possibility of a computer that can max out all games

It is getting hard to work in windows 8.1, I'd just tried to download Crimson Editor for use with Ultra Hal and as soon as the download completed it put it in Quarantine. I didn't even have Visual Basic in the computer for use with Hal because of a security problem with it. Anyways I do keep running into problems where I download and it is immediately quarantined. I'm not sure if people download something and latter if there is a problem it's blamed on that download that's reported.

I remember talking about cleaning out the dust build up around the win 10 install, I had done a pretty through cleaning earlier but noticed the start of another build up of dust during the install. Not that long ago I replaced the air filter for the forced hot air heating system and began thinking of a filter for the computer. Anyways I just bought a small air filter cut it to size and put it in front of the air inlet for the cpu. Did a little cleaning on the fan and the fins of the heat sink. I've seen better material that could have been used, same thing heater air filters, but I picked up what was available at the time and it's done for now.

Howdy all. I was struck with an idea over the last couple of days and I decided to make a new forum.

Everyone is welcome if it interests them.

It will cover all kinds of CGI, like games, movies, animation and artwork.

Should be fun :)

So last night my Radeon (7800) stuff did an update, went to log onto STO and the kept getting "the gameclient.exe stopped working"

Instead of going into panic mode like I usually do (OK I did re-install the game first!!) did a bit of reading, rolled back my drivers and hey presto, game works properly again.

I might actually be learning at last

I just got a Craig Wireless 7" Android 4.0 netbook,
model CLP281x, 1GB RAM, and a 1.3GHZ ARM processor,
from eBay for $17. Probably saved about $80 dollars.

It must be overstock because it was new in the box.
It has USB slots, an Ethernet port and an HDMI port.
The screen is very nice, and it has a 5 hour battery.

The keyboard is not full size, but it still works OK,
and I can always easily plug in a full USB keyboard.
The mic and speakers are decent for such a small unit.
But, it has ports like a PC for headphone and mic jacks.

Everybody loves a tablet touch screen. Yet, this netbook
proves there is a usable alternative to a touch screen.
Unlike inaccurate PC touch pads, this netbook touch pad
moves the mouse pointer precisely, like a USB mouse does.

NOTE: I've only had it for a day, so this is an early report.
So far, so good though. And, it has other stuff I did not
go into, like 4GB internal flash memory, and an external slot
for a 32GB external sdcard... And more!

Starting this thread as I keep losing my posts

This is from that benchmarking site.

My GPU has gone up from 62.9 to 87.9% and my gaming score from 71% to 92%.
Not sure why but my CPU dipped a little, maybe they changed the test.

Overall score influenced by my ridiculous amount of SSDs, some slower than others. Windows is on the M.2 though so that's the main thing, the other drives I'm not worried about being mega fast.

So it appears this GPU is a bigger step up than I anticipated which is cool.
