Guys, I know we have talked about this somewhere, but what's the basic procedure for installing an SSD. I mean things like Trim if that's right and so on. I remember you have to switch off defragmenting...what else was there to do.

I'll be installing XP on SSD too, is it the same procedure. No major rush, just planning ahead and thanks if you get the time to do the steps I need to consider. I made this new thread for future reference.

I am aware that, like myself, Freddy and Dave enjoy Photography, albeit, mine is very amateur. To this end, I found this today. It would appear that the Tech is largely aimed at the Smart Phone Industry which is a pity as I was hoping to up grade my camera once I return to work and this looks like a bit of fun.
