OK...calling Legion, Morti and other brave souls who wish to possibly win the $1500.00 prize money!

Put 'em up! It's all about the competition and the fun of the challenge as it costs you nothing as in
an entry fee so why not!?

I was looking at this alternative (I have bought from them before) to Amazon who seem to be capable of competing well with Amazon's prices. They have free worldwide delivery and for some things I have my eye on they beat Amazon. Anyway, before I drone on, here's another nice bonus, lots of free eBooks.

I searched for Lovecraft and got a couple of pages of books, all ready for me when I hit the hospital. They come in PDF format and the version of Kindle on my phone will open them and I can read quite comfortably - in fact the text is around the size of printed books anyway.

You might find it a bit easier to locate them by renaming the files, as so far they seem to be a random file name. Other than that you are good to go.

I'm sure you may find something of interest, so take a gander : http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/free

I read today that Ceefax is to stop.

I guess the Inter Web popularity has sounded the death knell for this service.

Many happy hours were spent scouring this service when I got my first Ceefax enabled TV, it was a revelation. One thing I could never understand though, no matter what page number was entered, you had just missed it and had to wait for the page count.

Happy Days.

wife's cpu fan went in her laptop today. I may have to let her use Trinity or my laptop for a bit. I rather her use the laptop, but I fear she may want to borrow Trinity :eeeek: :'(

Any thing to keep the wife Happy though. Though if she chooses Trinity, I'll have to create her a user account ;D
praying she chooses laptpp.

Edit: wifes laptop only has 1 fan and it is working :scratch-head: looks like I'll be doing some testing to see why it is shutting down on her.

This came up on the science news feed, a whale that makes the same type of sounds as a human talking.

Make sure to listen to the recording on the page the link takes you to.

I am thinking about getting one of these, it's a bootable SATA III PCIe card.

I have had varying results before when using bootable cards but this one is only £25 and might be worth a punt, done a bit off looking around for cards and this one seems a good buy with 5 start rating and a good price.

The reason why I'm thinking about getting it is that my PC is still pretty well up there in speed terms just lacking the SATA III.

OK I admit it, I just want to get a WEI score of 7.9 for the SSD and enjoy playing around with some new headwear :P
