wife's cpu fan went in her laptop today. I may have to let her use Trinity or my laptop for a bit. I rather her use the laptop, but I fear she may want to borrow Trinity :eeeek: :'(

Any thing to keep the wife Happy though. Though if she chooses Trinity, I'll have to create her a user account ;D
praying she chooses laptpp.

Edit: wifes laptop only has 1 fan and it is working :scratch-head: looks like I'll be doing some testing to see why it is shutting down on her.

This came up on the science news feed, a whale that makes the same type of sounds as a human talking.

Make sure to listen to the recording on the page the link takes you to.

I am thinking about getting one of these, it's a bootable SATA III PCIe card.

I have had varying results before when using bootable cards but this one is only £25 and might be worth a punt, done a bit off looking around for cards and this one seems a good buy with 5 start rating and a good price.

The reason why I'm thinking about getting it is that my PC is still pretty well up there in speed terms just lacking the SATA III.

OK I admit it, I just want to get a WEI score of 7.9 for the SSD and enjoy playing around with some new headwear :P

Surprised no one posted this one sooner. It was quite the hit in the late 60's early 70's. Check it out here:

AND...there's his GCRV (Ground Cruising Recreational Vehicle)

Again...I'm likely too large to fit but they're fun to look at!

Recently, upon entering text for a search then selecting an appropriate result, i"m (my computer) is often REDIRECTED to another site (different link). The site usually features several more links from which to choose or a site simply LITTERED with ADS!

Often, it takes several clicks to go BACK and try the same link again. This time, I'm usually taken to the more correct site.

My AV is updated and there is no evidence of Malware in my computer of any kind.

Have advertisers resorted to misdirecting users' attempts by sending them through a series of sites and sub-sites?

Has anyone else experienced this sort of anomaly? This is frustrating to say the least!! Suggestions appreciated!

Here is a nice little program made for Gigabyte motherboards, dynamic energy saver.

It saves power and money by turning off CPU cores and throttling the CPU speed when the speed isn't needed.

What's more it really works, as I am able to monitor the computers power consumption from my power monitor gadget I can see the power being used drop.

In the pic below you can see a row of pistons and two off the cores have been put to sleep.
