So, the US has decided to back out of the joint missions with ESA to concentrate on Manned flight and space technology:

So this leave EXOmars very much in the lurch............or does it? Is this an opportunity for ESA to really take the lead in the Martian field leaving NASA to pick up the reins on manned missions to the Moon and asteriods.

This could lead the 2 agencies to pick up on joint missions at a later date with each combining its expertise in their relevant fields to push onto manned missions to Mars (Very much in the future mind you!!!)

I like seeing things from a different point of view.

I got this Idea today after getting so frustrated with mods messing up my forum, But that's a different story. Anyway I have this program on my laptop called Freemind it is a mind mapping program, and I thought I would be helpful to build a mind map of my site to help visualize, prioritize, and organize my site. So I downloaded and installed there latest version on my desktop. It took me about 10 minutes to create a map of my site, now I can easy add nodes or re arrange them to a better place. I can even insert text into each node to either further define the node, remind me of content I want to add in the future, or create the actual content that I will be uploading to my site. I figure it will be better to arrange things in here instead of placing content on the server only to rearrange it later.
If my home server was finished being built I would not need this. But seeing I don't have it completely built yet this seems so far to work rather well.

Hey, guess who needs help again

So I bought some matching RAM for the PC, two cards 2GB each.

The plan was to move me up to 8GB from 4GB.

Inserted the RAM and at first the PC would not boot. It did the next go but then I got blue screen of death. Every boot after is the same thing, blue screen. Windows did just about load one time but then it was BSOD again.

I removed the new memory and the PC is back to good health.

Apparently this memory is in working order, I got it from eBay as it is not available now.

Could I be overlooking something simple, like a Bios setting ?

In BIOS the new extra memory is detected fine, it's just not working when windows try to load.

I'm thinking about removing my old ram and trying to boot with the new ram, just to see if it is faulty.

Any thoughts ?
