I know that the vast majority of you folks live across the pond from me, but I want to extend an invitation anyway.
Quote from: www.geekcavecreations.comOn May 20th, 2012, there will be what is known as an Annular Solar Eclipse. The eclipse will begin at roughly 4:15PM, with the center of totality passing over my campsite at around 5:30PM, and the last of the eclipse ending after sunset. This promises to be a truly awe-inspiring event, and I'll be making a huge event of it, camping there overnight on the 19th. Luckily, this is on a weekend! :)

The dead-on center of the eclipse's path will cross the extreme southern portion of Pyramid Lake, north of Reno, Nevada, which is quite close to my house (relatively speaking, of course), and I'm trying to organize a large event at the lake to celebrate, and to watch what I believe to be not only a rare type of eclipse, but also the most exciting astronomical event I shall ever be witness to (and I've seen Halley's Comet!)

There's more information about the "Eclipse Party" at http://www.geekcavecreations.com/?eclipse2012, including a map (courtesy of Google Maps), if you're interested. Everyone is invited, and I'm hoping that this will be a spectacular event, where I can share my joy of the heavens with my friends from around the world.

I didn't want to tie up Snowy's thread with my stuff, so I figured I'd best post my stuff here. :)

Data, as per your request, here's that art piece, re-rendered to 1920x1080 for you.

Midnight Oil

(I think it looks better in the larger size, myself)

I know it's a little early to start this, but I had to get away from that *^%$!@:, err sorry, damn puzzle. September will be upon us very soon and, provided nature has settled it's self by then, the Kiwi's will be hosting one of Sport's finest competitions. I shall be posting quite regular on this one, the run up, group matches, results you name it, or to coin an Idiom, The Full Nine Yards, Snowcrash. ;)

Watch this space.

Microsoft, love them or hate them, bless :)

Have incorporated a feature in IE9 called Tracking Protection, in a nutshell it prevents things from other sites getting displayed on the site you are looking at, mostly adverts and tracking content.

I had a play around with it today and it seems to be working and blocking adverts, It can block things you don't want it to as well so to help me remember which blocking lists to use I've made this reminder.

EasyList Standard Tracking Protection List
Fanboy - Adblock Tracking Protection List
TRUSTe Tracking Protection List

Here is a little vid that explains it some more.

I surprised her Monday with a pony.
Sandee is so very happy.
She named him "Cookie" cause he's such a sweet pony.

(p.s. Please don't tell her it's not a pony)
