I've just been down to my local shops for a few bit's , on the way home a '08 plated Ford Mondeo taxi, driven by an idiot, decided to try and reorganise the rear of my car. Lucky for me, not so lucky for him, I drive a two and a half ton 4x4 fitted with a massive tow bar. The resulting carnage, fortunately no-one was hurt, should ensure this idiot is off the road for awhile.

This got me thinking about things I would like to see in 2011.

For example, how about a braking system fitted to your car that applies the brakes of the car behind, or, frozen veg bags you can open without using a sharp instrument, or, plastic milk containers where the little tag doesn't break off.

Any other ideas?.

Anyone find it slow ? I was trying to watch Dr Who last evening and it kept stopping to load. Speed of line is not an issue, I figured half the country might be watching stuff though...

Telly has been a bot poor as usual this year in my humble opinion.

So it's Christmas Eve, I like to think it all starts today.

Wishing all members and guests a Happy Christmas and hopefully a relaxing time.

May peace be upon the world for as long as possible.

Yup, I woke up to a dead hard drive, my external USB drive has failed, I blame myself really, the drive is at least 5 years old and I always tell people, customers, when they reach 5 years replace them before they die, I didn't and have lost all my music, videos and pictures. :very-angry:

Not too happy about that. :'(

I was watching a program on TV about Richard Wilson and One foot in the grave, as a sitcom it has so many classic moments in and I like a good laugh. ;D

Anyway it gave me the idea to start a new topic of classic comedy moments, starting with this gem.

Been looking for a planetarium for the PC, had a go with Sky Globe a few years back, found this free one "Stellarium", runs in OpenGL and its graphics are pretty good, might be worth downloading if you like the occasional look at the stars.

I see it has plugins too and one of them can send commands to a telescope to find things in the sky, that's how I read it, so it could be used by serious astronomers too, saying that they probably know about it already.

We had company last night, sort of a pre-Christmas family gathering.
We had 6 adults and 11 children.

Sandee is so good with children.
Here's Sandee before they arrive at 7 p.m.

Here's she's saying goodbye as they leave at 2 a.m.
They were playing cowboys and Indians.
At one point I had to go in and untie her.
They were doing war dance around her as she hung upside down.

Hummm.... would have been a cute pic.
I must remember to have camera handy when they return at Christmas.
