My second monitor seems to have died on me, there's a green thick haze over the screen. Tested all the ports, adapters and leads, all are fine. Got to be some internal thing in the monitor I guess.

Been looking for a cheap replacement, came up with a few cheap options - it doesn't have to be game playing standard or anything like that.

Found these :

BenQ G702AD 17 inch LCD Monitor (Analog, 5ms, 2000:1 DCR, Vista Basic, Senseye and Photo Technology)

Dell IN1720N 17 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

Samsung B1930N 19 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

I'm inclined to get the Samsung as it matches my main monitor and looks nice although it's slightly lower resolution than the Dell, not a biggie though. But it is a bit wider too and WS.

Can't decide, anyone have any thoughts ?

Can't find any reviews of the first two, but people on Amazon seem to like the Samsung and I really like the larger one that I have already.

I read today that an original Apple I was sold to a collector for £133,250, ($210,158), this sent me wandering down memory lane, back to my first P.C. sorry, Word Prossesor.

It was an I.B.M. 564? or something, what a piece of kit, it had a tiny inbuilt monitor and you could switch on, make a three course meal, return and it was almost ready to work!!!. Every comand prompt had to be inputted manually. Data storage was on floppy disc's which were more adept at storing dust than Data. Coupled to a state-of-the-art printer that could handle upto 10 A4 sheets in it's hopper. The whole package was the size and weight of a small family car. Happy days.

If only I knew then what I know now.

Am after a little help.

I have a few customers that like using stationary on e-mails, they all use Windows Live mail, but for some reason that I cant work out Microsoft have removed stationary from the latest version (2011).

So I've been hunting for a replacement for them, a nice little e-mail program that can do stationary, have tried thunderbird, wasn't very impressed with that, so it looks like its going to have to be Incredimail.

Anyone use Incredimail, got any tips?
Or maybe another e-mail program that I haven't found yet?

I've been inspired by the work duskrider has done with Sandy and wanted to do something with body_female from Haptek that I've been working with.

A question for Snowcrash....

Whilst having a smoke the past week or so at around 6.00- 7pm to the South East I can see something really bright...no not the moon .... it's near the moon and is bright enough to shine still though.

I thought I read somewhere that Neptune was really close to Earth right now and was wondering if that is what I am seeing.

Just got another game "Lost Horizon" it's a slow moving point and click type game, solving puzzles, what grabbed me was you play as Fenton Paddock, he's a cad, a ladies man, it made me chuckle when I played the Demo.

Downloaded the demo and the game from Steam.

Thought it was about time for a slower moving game, give the heart and blood pressure a break ;D
