With every attempt so far failing to stop the leak its not looking good is it, this thing has me very worried and concerned, I mean how far is it going to spread, if they cant stop the leak they will have to contain it somehow or I see this disaster having far reaching consequences. It's bad enough for the people and wildlife it's effecting now but if it carries on and on I shudder to think what will happen.

I also cant help but think this could have been avoided, I was watching the news and they had a worker from the rig talking about what happened, he said they started to see pieces of rubber which looked like the oil seal breaking up, he reported it but was told to keep on drilling or what ever it was they were doing but he thought they should have stopped to check it out.

I don't want to play the blame game but what a great shame those signs were ignored.

I'm hoping now for the next attempt to work and plug that hole, right now it seems hope is all we have.

One of the games I used to play on a borrowed A500 was Speedball.
Had great fun playing Datahopa with this game.

The A500 had a dodgy monitor (everything was green) partly the reason I had it. Played this game loads with the dodgy monitor.
Got the monitor fixed and Datahopa could no longer work out what players were his and I could beat him easily. No fun for either of us.

This is one to keep an eye on. Looks like LGA1366 is dead then.

The Sandy Bridge processor will be LGA1155 one less than current and not compatable :-[

Snowman from the Hal forum found these videos, I had to post them here. Snowcrash you are going to love these.

Quick overview:

They are going to be able to make a computer with processors and memory much faster and with much more memory than ours now and all on one chip. This could happen in just a few years from now.

Put me down for one of them.
