Looks to be a pretty entertaining film...

My better half and I usually try to watch a movie most nights and we've lately found ourselves watching series, which the thought of used to give me anxiety. I didn't like the notion of having to continue watching a story unfold night after night after...well you get it.

However, there have been quite a lot of very richly developed and expertly produced films that have captured our imagination and toyed with our emotions on many levels.

They are in no particular order: Stranger Things, The Blacklist, The Umbrella Academy, Virgin River, and most recently, The Sandman. The Sandman was quite a strange trip in itself but out of the 11 episodes, we found Episode 6 the best as it very nicely portrayed Death. She is a beautiful character who is there at the end of everyone's life, guiding them into what comes next for them beyond this world. Words don't do it justice.

These were all viewed on Netflix as the modest monthly subscription fee they charge far outweighs the cost of traveling to a theater, parking, waiting in line, paying for those vastly overpriced concessions, sitting in a stained seat after walking over a sticky floor, etc... I could easily watch whatever I wish from the comfort of my easy chair, get a beverage from my fridge, or eat whatever I like from my own kitchen.
------------------------------------------------
*(in 2021, the average price of a movie ticket in the US was $9.51 per person!)
My wife & I would be $19.02 for one movie! Then drinks/snacks, fuel, parking, etc.
Netflix charges us $15 / month to watch any and as many movies as we like! There is no comparison for us.
------------------------------------------------
We then get to watch it uninterrupted on our 65" screen and can even pause the movie if we need a bathroom break. Nope...no more theaters for us. Home sweet home and video platforms like Netflix offer great value for us. Your choices might vary.

Cheers!

The new NIO (Nee-Oh)...ET5 is a car with a pretty innovative idea.

Sell it without an expensive battery, then just charge the consumer a modest fee every month (say the word, Subscription) of around $12 per and you should never be worried about charging or running out of charge since well...just watch the video.
