Title: What Price Safety? 1965
Post by: Data on April 09, 2018, 11:57:41 AM
This small film was made over 50 years ago, I found it amusing to watch, it even made me laugh at times but some of the work these chaps did has saved lives.  It was deadly serious at the time.

See what you make of it.

I was half expecting Kenneth Williams to appear at the beginning - Maayytron !

Actually it was very interesting and a lot of those ideas made it - except the helmet worn in a car. I like seeing the engineering that goes into seemingly simple things. I wonder if that research place is still there, I have never heard of it.

Where I live a lot of the roads are just as bad as they were back then I think.

I was amused at the 'heavy traffic' of three cars going flat out. Also they forgot to say that one egg was harmed in the making of this video.
