I thought I'd share some of my friends music.

Mainly 'cos he asked me of my opinion and I'm not sure of any words.

What d'u think?

I listened to a few of them, Please let your friend know I said great job 

I like these, absolutely brilliant for blasting the dust out of your sound system.

Would I purchase them ?, YES I would. Nice individual sound, well structured, works for me. 

I listened to 5 of them, there seems to be lot of Boom Tick, Boom Tick, Boom Tick, but didn't hear any rifts.

Production is good 

I also listened to several, and thought they all made for good "driving tunes", but I also noticed that there wasn't much in the way of variation among them.

My first reaction was good rhythm tracks but no hook, vocal or synth.

Knowing how hard it is to write a good hook, I was wondering how to say it without annoying Lewis.

You have no trouble telling me what you think of my music Snowy, the last one I did you said, and I quote, "I hate that song" 

What can I say?

When I ask for opinions on my creations whether it's artwork or stories, I'm not looking for an "attaboy". I'm looking for an honest opinion, so when someone gives me their honest appraisals of my work, I'm grateful, even if that appraisal is negative. I suggest that you take the same approach, but as politely and diplomatically as possible. Try using the "compliment sandwich" approach. that's where you start with something nice, and end with something nice, but with the not-so-nice stuff in-between. I think you'll find that this works well with most people.

I agree with Dave, honesty is the best policy. I personally look for honest feed back. If something I create is good, bad or in between, I would appreciate honest feedback. 

And I agree too, better to be honest and say what you really think, its what I expect from someone when I ask for their opinion.

Daves diplomatic sandwich is a good way of doing it, something that I have done in the past too.

I couldn't play this while driving.  I need something more soothing to keep me cool with all the idiots on the road today.
