No worries DD!

I own a car that normally gets (depending on how heavy my foot happens to be on a given day), between 50 to 65 MPG and have gotten as high as 68 MPG.

WHY did I buy such a car? Because I'm a "Green activist", a Climate Change Cautionary, Global Whinning...NO...None of the above... I want to save money!! <BANG!> how's that for a shocker!?

If it helps in any of the aforementioned ways then that's just icing on the cake but to me, it's about the money...my money and how well or poorly I use what little I have.

Sorry to stray from topic but getting back, yes, the "water / Wave energy / wind farms" are a very real and much needed alternative.

Say, would water with the associated wave motions be considered, "Liquid Wind"? Hmmm...wind farms under the sea... :scratch-head:
