Found this by accident, the boffins really had their thinking caps on for this one:

I ran across that a while back, but thought it was either an elaborate hoax, or just a lot of hype. Looks amazing, though. :)

They aren't invisible per se Data, they have been made invisible to infra-red targeting systems as used by the most sophisticated militaries.

Of course the technology to make the invisible to the naked eye is also under development, I will track this down and post here sson.
