Shock & awe and aw shucks, sorry.

Did we exist last Thursday?

"Theoretically real"? ? ? Seriously?

At least I know now that my basic laziness has a useful purpose. I', helping to stave off the long, slow heat death of the Universe! :D

Some of that was a challenge to get my head around but I think I got the bulk of it.

Thanks Snowy

To those who think that we should stop reproducing and just die out as a species, I have one thing to say:

"You first". :P

Well, that put things in perspective... which is awkward in it's own right. :)

Thanks, Snowy!

Particularly like this bit.

In your 20's and 30's you worry about what people think of you.

In you 40's and 50's you stop worrying about what people think of you.

In your 60's and 70's you realise that they were never thinking about you in the first place.

DaveMorton

I happen to disagree with that. It may be true, in general, but in my personal experience, and judging from the behaviours of those around me, people are still worried about how they're perceived well into their 90's. I, however, haven't cared what others thought about me, ever. :P
