   One of the bigest problems I'v found is the goverment involvement in ice cars to get better mileage was to make a special part to put into the car, this meant the car had lots of new gadgets that could fail.  There was also the problem that grauges would do things like welding mufflers and other parts to the cars, I found it much better to use nuts and bolts when replacing muflers and other items to the car.  The best solution is to get an EV .
