Title: Me winning gold in a LOTRO event
Post by: Freddy on September 29, 2018, 21:43:01 PM
Because it's a fleshed out world you get some nice player run events and this one I entered (last year too) has been running for seven years now.

Briefly, it's like an Olympics with races on foot, cross country, horse races and even story telling and music. I think the first Olympics had poetry in it funnily enough. I'd not won anything over the past couple of years. But thanks to my good start in the swimming sprint I managed to claim gold.

My character is Kaylia - she's an Elf. I started the video a little way in for the actual race and you can skip around to about 17:20 to see me get my award  ;D

This video is from the people that make the game (Standing Stone Games) and they are kind enough to do the week long coverage, which is nice.
