That would be great if either it were on PC, or if I had a next-gen console, but neither looks all that promising. :(

Well there is a chance it might come to the PC :

I signed the petition, and was immediately assailed with a plethora of other petitions to sign, none of which were something I would support even if there was a gun to my head. Maybe signing it wasn't such a good idea? They have my email addy now.  :booboo: :o

BTW, I think that The Crew looks promising. :)

Doh, sorry about the petition thing  :o

I just watched The Crew and yes that looks fun.  It will be on the PC too, but it looks like next gen games demand a next gen price too  ;D

I think there is a chance that more of these games will make it to the PC, my reasoning is 2 fold.

The Xbox 1 and the PS4 are both PC's under the hood, where as the PS3 wasn't, this must make it easier to import a game to the PC, you would have thought.

Then there is the money, if a game manufacturer has the opportunity to sell more games by importing the game to PC you would think they would.

I might be grasping at straws but there is hope.

Here is an interesting article

Why AMD's next-gen console victories are a big win for PC gamers (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2043545/why-amds-next-gen-console-victories-are-a-big-win-for-pc-gamers.html)

Things are looking good for next gen PC gaming.  :D

Had to look up APU. Accelerated Processing Unit. CPU and GPU combined but the consoles and also doing hUMA (heterogeneous Unified Memory Architecture).
So, short term is looking rosy for PCs but unless they adopt hUMA, it may create another difficulty.
QuoteThat could be huge: EA Sports honcho Andrew Wilson has gone on the record as saying that the company's next-gen Ignite engine isn't coming to PCs specifically because the CPU, GPU, and memory in today's PCs don't work in concert the way the components do on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The future looks interesting. Also GTA V came out yesterday.

Sounds like an i5 / i7 or AMD equivalent with onboard graphics, they just need to get better.

Never played any EA Sports engine games, so not likely to miss that one. There are game makers who will be making their next gen games on the PC, the kind and thoughtful game makers  ;) or the ones that know there is money to be made from the PC market

Does look like GTA V is coming to the PC but not 100% sure yet.

Both games look great. If I had to choose, I think I would pick The Division. It's a very hard choice so would probably get both !

It's still a long wait though, did he say Christmas ?

Out of the two it would have to be Watch Dogs for me, The Division looks amazing but from all the videos I've seen, it seems very much like a "get from A to B with a shooter" type game, where as Watch Dogs is more than that while being a new type of game play as well.

I found on the Ubisoft site that Watch Dogs is going to be released in Spring this year, if they stick to it, so maybe not too long now.  :drooling:

Spring hey, well that's not so bad. I found this video about the multiplayer aspect, sounds like fun.

The only actual date I've found is "The online retailer revealed that "Watch Dogs" should be shipping on June 27th". Link (http://www.examiner.com/article/watch-dogs-release-date-listed-for-ps4-xbox-one-and-more-systems-by-retailer).

Ubisoft just say Spring. I make June as summer.  :(

Summer isn't too bad, I can live with that.

I must admit the multiplayer part of Watch Dogs looks like it might be fun too, you never know I might actually give it a go.  ;D

I think I am going to have to buy a new SSD just for games. Titanfall is up to 50GB and I bet it's similar with a lot of others. My Secret World already chewed up 50GB..

Was listening to a review of this game today from Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-02-18-podcast-s2e8-titanfall-great-dlc-and-the-impossible-sell). It got high praise even from the guys who done plat FPS's much. The podcast was interesting, give it a go if you have time.
