Yes - The Chase - I do see clips of the US version on YT and I think other countries have it too now. It's my favourite quiz show as I like how quick it is - no procrastinating about answers like a lot shows.

I like that the US and UK nick ideas off of each other 

Surely they realised at some stage how cheesy this all was... 

I admit that was funnier than I was expecting 

I thought that much of the time the "move" seemed a bit forced, or at least contrived. It was almost as if they were going for a "60's Batman" sort of camp, but just barely missed the mark. but that's just me, I think.

This had me in stiches last night, can only find a video of the second half but funny all the same.
