Here's a vid (http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap120305.html) from APOD (http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/) of the Earth at night from the ISS with load of aurora.
All Alone in the Night - Time-lapse footage of the Earth as seen from the ISS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG0fTKAqZ5g#ws)
Very nice vid, I like the way you can see the atmosphere layers. Was looking for the UK but couldn't even make out the continents.
I spotted Italy as the ISS travels east accross the Med and over the middle east.
Nice vid, the amount of light pollution we create is truely awe inspiring!!!
I think I saw part of my house at the 49 second mark :)
now wonder why my electric bill is so high :P
great video thanks for posting this great video.
Great video, Snowcrash. Earth, night, aurora, music, all this looks like a dream.
I must try to buy a ticket for an ISS ride...
(maybe SyberShot will come with me if he can save some $ from his elecric bill)
A ride to and on the ISS sound like epic fun GT40, thanks for the invite.
I may have to wait till they drop the ticket price by a few million :(
