indeed a great story, and a sweet plane there.
Glad to see a Lancer getting fixed up, they sure have a lot of character to them.
This aircraft was the gate guardian for a number of years at RAF Scampton, which rather fittingly was the home of 617 squadron better known as the Dambusters. The Dams raid was flown from that base.
