Nice photos DD
Had not seen a parachuter with a ribbon attached before. Those wing walkers I saw up here in Lowestoft before the show closed down. Good to see all the old planes there 8)
That's a para-motor Freddy, basically a para-glider with a little 2 stroke engine attached
The vids are taking longer to upload than I was expecting (dang lack of fibre power!!).
The vids include a B25 Mitchell 2 engine bomber that came over from the netherlands, the Vulcan, the Lancaster and the B17 G Sally B. Alos Spitfire and Hurricane taking off, a Gloster Gladiator taxiing and of course the Hawker Hunter.
Ah yeah, now I see the motor on the back :Head-Slap:
Here are a couple of vids, you will have to excuse them a little bit as there was a lot of glare on my phone so I was sometimes filming blind ???

Some really good stuff there DD, both the content and the quality of the vids and images :shades:
Yep very nice
I lost the Hunter at the end of the flypast, the glare on my screen was too much and he was too fast.
There will be more and some of the others are better ones of flypasts like the dragon Rapide (twin engine biplane).
Note: Please turn up the volume when the Vulcan vid gets posted
Will do.
I'm jealous, there used to be a few air shows around my way, but they've mostly gone now.
Talking of Vulcans. You might be interested in this KMZ file for Google Earth. A few years back I wwent looking for the remaining few and this file shows where they are. Sadly though some may have gone, I already found that the one they had at Blackpool was scrapped. It makes for painful viewing...

Also Thunder & Lightnings in the web site list Freddy, they tend to follow the survivors.
The problem is the Vulcan is a big expensive aircraft to maintain, they said yesterday that it costs £38,500 a WEEK to keep XH558 in the sky, so even keeping them on the ground it costs to keep them in anything like good condition.
Web site list ?
This file I made myself. I do have another list with Lightnings in too if you want it. It's funny where these things ended up.
Yes agreed about the cost, it's just sad to see them go.
Top of the thread just above the reply button:
Airliners.net
Thunder & Lightnings
Vulcan to the Sky
Luft 46
T&L is a great website, they did all the classic British aircraft of the early jet era and have followed them right through from the history to current survivors.
Luft 46 is also great, the ideas the German designers were coming up with were frankly quite scary!!!
Ah thanks, never noticed those before
But yes it was by using the airliners.net site that helped put my map together. I looked at all the images of Vulcans and then tried to find them on Google Earth. Sometimes it's just a nose cone left or something like that - there's not many full bodies left. We have a nice one at Norwich Airport.

T&L lists all of them and has pictures of them and was up to date up to around 2010-12 I think.
Last vids for today, I'll get the others up tomorrow I hope:
