Just finished reading this book by Neal Stephenson and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its tag is "what if we could live forever, what if we did?" and is about a virtual digital heaven (my words).
It has also introduced me to the connectome (https://www.brainpreservation.org/content-2/connectome/) and other ideas and technology I didn't know existed.

That sounds like my kind of book! I read through the introduction on Amazon and it does sound as if Dodge sort of gets a bit more than he bargained for, but then again, once one is dead it kind of takes away one's decision making abilities doesn't it?!  ;)

As soon as things settle down a bit, I think I'll go for it!

I just found it interesting that you liked and recommended one of his books until I read through a few of his other publications and thought it a casual coincidence.

It is totally from the book. I put it as one word and the book is two words. No quad driving in snow here.

I believe it was his first book and may not be the best written SciFi book but I love the concept of code/computer virus/bio virus/religion/drug all designed to crash the human brain, called... Snow (as in un-tuned TV) Crash (what computers do).
The deliverator driven by Hiro Protagonist is good too. Even if the character name is a little hmmm.
