I found this video very interesting and had lots of solar answers and promises of things to come.

I did some research on solar panels a while back and discovered that one would need between 10 and 16 full size panels fitted to their home to make it viable.

Like the video states, the efficiency of solar panels has increased but falls short of being able to seriously charge a car given a cars surface area.

The best option right now is to have solar panels and a battery power wall fitted to our homes, then we could run our homes and mostly charge our cars from the sun.

I it something I would like to do in my life time.  8)
