Title: Compact Small Tesla
Post by: Data on November 28, 2020, 11:05:25 AM
The dream of a small Tesla has got a bit closer, Elon has started talking about making a smaller, cheaper car, this is what much of the world has been waiting for.

I've found an early draft drawing of the car, if it looks close to this then it's going to be amazing.

Looks very sleek and aerodynamic - cars keep getting smoother.

Ahh, the one I've been looking forward to. I like the 3 but still a bit large for my taste.

Found another image of the car, it's probably going to be called the Tesla C.

Found some more info about the new small Tesla along with some Tesla general news.

It looks like it might be called the Tesla model 2.

I've got to say I like it a lot, a smaller electric car with the new batteries, good range without all the extras to save money,

I feel the same Carl, for the European and UK market this car could be a serious game changer making more people switch to electric, we tend to like smaller cars over here.

In about 5 years time when I'm looking for a new EV this could well be at the top of the list.

We have a lot of large SUV's over here which make the Leaf look pretty small, good for people with a lot of kids but much to large for me.  Not sure why but I feel safer driving the leaf.  I'm so old a car now costs 10 tomes more than they cost when I was younger. I hope the model 2 becomes popular and they sell a lot.

This and the ID3 are the only EVs I want to own. It will happen. I'm just planning rebuilding our garage into a summer house come workshop and getting power down to it. Will put at least a 10mm2 cable in preparation of an electric charge point.
Hopefully this year for the build. Estimate 3 years for the EV.

Well done Snowy, I don't care what EV you choose but an EV it has to be, I knew you would see the light  :)
