Clear weather permitting, you lot across the pond are in for a bit of a treat, as the planet Venus will be passing behind the Moon in an event called an Occultation (for those unfamiliar with the term), starting on the 26th of Feb, from around 4:10AM, when Venus will slip behind the "old Moon's arms", and ending around 5:50AM, when it emerges from behind the New Moon. I'm SERIOUSLY jealous! :D

[edit] I've done the research for this based on the lat/lon for London, so my times may be off by a minute or two, depending on your location. :) [/edit]

Sounds good  :)

4 to 5AM though, it's really very early for me.

lol, that's "really very early" for most of humanity, I suspect. But for those who love stargazing, it's well worth setting the alarm for. Just grab some coffee and a warm sweater.

Oh, and pray for clear skies. :D

Double-posting, DD? Isn't that a "sin bin offense"? I took care of the extra post, so it's all good.
