Thanks Art, I would like to echo that too.

Please everyone have a great Christmas  :)

Freddy

Thanks guys, and a Merry Christmas to all from me too. Here's hoping for a better new year too!

I hope everyone is having a nice Christmas day.  Pretty cold here and the leaf has a coating of ice, the forecast has a lot of days with rain and snow days.  After a few days I'll have to get the booster shot

Merry Christmas Carl, watch out for the booster side effects!

We''re watching Star Wars here, prepping for a big meal later.

Just got back from a 3 mile Christmas day walk and now Mrs Data is getting the feast ready, looking forward to putting my feet up and watching a load of Christmas TV.

This is the first year without my parents, does feel a bit different but determined to have a good one.

Freddy

Sounds nice have a lovely meal.  :D

Thanks  :D

Just opened some pear cider too  :P

Art

Yum!

Oddly, as much as I loved pears throughout my life, I have never heard of nor tried any Pear Cider! If I get the opportunity perhaps at our local farmers market, I might be able to locate a small container or even a sample or so.

Do you drink it warmed or cool (maybe room temperature)?

Thanks for the idea!! Cheers!!

For me pear cider has to be the sweet variety, not dry, it also has to be cold from the fridge, it is my favourite tipple these days.

We get it from our supermarkets over here, it's in cans or bottles.

This is the best I have found, sweet and just lovely:

To my surprise, I just located a site that has advertised said Pear Cider!

To further that surprise, it is now available from a company whose cider I have tasted before on many an occasion.

Angry Orchard now has Pear Cider. It has been quite a few years since I've had their Crisp Apple Cider and a couple of other types but now I know that a quick trip to my liquor store will satisfy my curiosity for Pear Cider!

I'll let you know how it goes...
