Title: computer chair
Post by: sybershot on July 20, 2012, 19:49:33 PM
Computer chair legs broke today, just thought I would share that with all my friends. Time to get a new one, to bad things were not built to last like in the olden days. R.I.P. computer chair.

I know what you mean, I have broken a couple over the past year or two.  They don't seem to make the legs strong enough.

Got me one of those. This little beauty tends to throw a wheel off now and again but doesn't do you the common courtesy of letting you know, it just wait's to tip you over. Highly amusing when other are using the chair though.  :P

Maybe it's because I'm light weight but chairs and computer chairs would last a lifetime if it wasn't for the cat.  The frist one  was wood and a heavy fabric, I do remember a screw loosened and did a little damage, had to use some epoxy to repair some wood.   Big thing was the cat that likes to claw it, ruined all the fabric,  put away for now may recover it.  The newer chair is a plastic material that the cat is slowly ripping apart.
I trimed her claws once and will never try it again.

Indeed it wasn't. I have inherited it after your brother used it. The tilt mech is not right. Constant abuse from 225 lbs.
Would you like it back?  :sign-please:

5 years ago me and my wife bought us a pair of computer chairs, both different make and model. 2 yours ago her tilt mech.. broke, So the nice guy I was I traded chairs with her. That one from her finally broke to no repair about 6 months later. So I had to get a used one from my father, the one that broke on me yesterday. Would you believe my wife still has my old chair, and it is holding up very well. I'm thinking I should of not been so nice  :Head-Slap:

Well, IF you have a few extra dollars lying around (which pretty much rules out me and most of my friends - ;)), you could spring for one of these great electronic gaming chairs. OK...perhaps A LOT of extra dollars!! Anywho...check 'em out:

I want no.3
But I'd need a bigger place to put it in too. Even more expense.

The young lady is, indeed, quite attractive, but I think she'd do more harm than good right now, all things considered. Personally, I liked the mufti-tiered gamer-desk, though I have no real place to put it. :)

The beanbag chair does look comfy. though I would probably not be able to get out of it, might need that extra to assist in getting me up   :P

I dunno Blokes...how'd ya like to Bag a Blonde in a Bean Bag?...Blimey!!

Assistant? Yeah...that's it...but honey, the chair comes with an assistant
to help me get out of it.

Yeah? Well if I catch you and her you won't have to worry about getting
out of it! Getting a new life and a new identity maybe and moving out of
the country maybe and paying support and alimony certainly...so don't push it!!
Now...ya still want that CHAIR and the ASSistant? - Nope? Didn't think so!!

:-X

Don't think there would be that much conversation coming from the wife, but pretty much nails the scenario Art. I'll pass on the bean chair  ;D
