Don't we have some nice weather right now in England, I love the weather but when its nice like this I loose my TV and start getting French TV, makes a change but as I don't speak French I haven't got a clue what is going on. 

So its actually very annoying, I pay the BBC for a TV licence but all I can get is French TV, personally I think there should be a rebate for people like me that only get TV for about half the year.

And France should use directional transmitters on the coast of France that point in land, like we do in the UK then they would not interfere with us in nice weather conditions.

Yes Freddy Im on the coast, Brighton and yes digital TV, when the problem happens the analog TV dies too, It's a massive problem we have being so near to France.

At least we now have the BBCi player, it almost makes up for no TV, but I really think people in this position should not have to pay the full TV licence at least until it gets sorted out.

I know Snowcrash has the same problem too.

Oh yeah, I forgot you are in Brighton.  I agree, I wouldn't want to pay for half the service.  There should be some kind of reduction.

Any complaints about programme content you can do online. Any complaint about reception problems you have to do in writing/snail mail.

Datahopa and myself have similar problems. We both can't see Brighton transmitter. Him because of a hill and a farm shed, me due to a building. So we both point our arials at the IoW (rowbridge). In normal (??) conditions our reception is fine but as soon as the sun comes out we loose sets of channels (mux) depending on what the atmosphere does.
