I'd doubt that it would absorb enough heat to be of any real use, but that said, mounting one to the top of the case would lend a sort of "steampunk" atmosphere to the rig, don't you think?

I like this device. Same job as a connect but under the monitor instead of above.
Much better idea than this due to it can work with any screen. Not 3D I suppose but much smoother.
