I did think that some mention would appear here with regard to the "little do" in London yesterday, but, seeing that the forum has been very quiet, clearly everyone has been pre-engaged elsewhere.


What I was wondering was though, I believe the two families involved could cobble together a few quid if required and, if this is the case, why didn't they hold their reception at a Hotel somewhere, as opposed to holding it at his Nan's house ?.

It sounds like you're refering to a wedding.

Who's? I haven't heared of anyone getting married lately.

Assuming I was getting married, I would love my nan to host the reception.

When I was younger and my grandparents were alive I would always get the best treats when we visited them, they would spoil me with fizzy drinks and sweets.
