Dropping this in as it's getting there now. BETA costs £50.00 though, so quite a bit if you want to go in early. The pre order is a more reasonable £35.00 pencilled in for a 2014 release, so soon I guess.

Multi-player and it's a pay once and play the game.

I used to play the first ELITE on my college's BBC Micro B computers - it was a great game.

I found this CPU while looking for bits for a build, called the 4820K, it looks like a 4 series CPU going by the name, it is new but it's not a Haswell core, in fact it is the previous Ivy Bridge core but the good news is that it doesn't have any of the onboard graphics and instead has 10 MB Cache.

Quite a serious desktop CPU but for not too serious money.

Snowy will get the reference I'm sure, however for anyone who hasn't read Neal Asher's books Chameleonware is tech designed to hide a human or a vehicle.
