Seeing how popular our Random Music thread has been plus Movies You Rate, I thought I might start this thread. Post your favourite Movie Anthem here for us to share.
Let's see how this does, if it works fine, if it doesn't, fine.
To get us started, here's one of my all time favourites, Mike Oldfield, Tubular Bells from the 1972 cult film Exorcist.

That is a classic bit of music there Diesel, love it 8)
This is one of my favourites of all time, having said that I have others but will post them later.

Chariots of fire - movie, opening scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-7Vu7cqB20#)
And when I'm feeling a bit romantic (though with whom is beyond me, these days), I like this one:

Great theme, Data! Another good song to be playing while behind the wheel. Keeps you focused. :)
Glad you like it Dave :)
Not sure about it being driving music, It might make me feel like James Bond and end up trying to do some amazing stunt on the road and I'm not sure if my old Rover is up to that ;D
On the up side, I should be a hit with the ladies 8)
On to another classic.
The Italian Job
The Italian Job Soundtrack - Get A Bloomin' Move On - 1969 45rpm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQl91b7P8HI#)

Flicking through my DVD collection the other night, I came across this film. What an eye opener when I discovered this film was released way back in 1978. :o
Great film though, based on a true story.

633 Squadron - Opening scene and theme tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-nFa6R0qFU#ws)
Wow...to think I was still a youngster then. I don't recall seeing it since it was a British release. I do know of Cliff Robertson as he is practically legendary - Good guy!! Thanks!
no worries Art, I wholeheartedly recommend watching 633 squadron. It was one of those films that the whole family would sit in front of the box and happily watch together.
Of course having been made in the 1960's there are one or two "interesting" special effects ;D
And as for rousing war film tunes who can forget the Dambusters:
Dambusters main theme song / tune / anthem / soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJun5ziotfw#)
Love that film - it was on a couple of weeks back, still as good as ever.
I saw a good documentary on the how the film differs from reality with the actor Martin Shaw the other day, it was very good.
The lucky bugger got to fly in city of Lincoln at a display, I was very jealous!!!
Dambusters Declassified Documentary - full 1 hour version - Martin Shaw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35qsu9HsYos#ws)
Here's a little contribution from me. I had no idea that this film is now 40 years old. :o
