Interstellar, what a film, watched it last night, really very good.

Rated 5 stars by me, if you get the chance give it a go.

Freddy

I have had this on my wishlist for a while, thanks for the reminder.

Snowcrash

Interstellar is a good film. I give it 9/10. I very rarely give 10.

I found this YT film. I give it 6/10. Low budget but good plot and interesting.

I have Ex Machina if you want to watch, Data.

Watched Arrival recently, good film, extraterrestrials arrive on earth but really this story is a reflection on us humans.

If you get the chance watch it

Snowcrash

Like all good Sci-Fi, it holds the mirror up to show what the human condition is about.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Not fast action packed, if that's what you want but thought provoking.

I much prefer thought provoking to action-packed any day. I've yet to see this one, but it's been on my list since it came out.
Safe, Reliable Insanity, Since 1961!

That was on Hulu, I watched but can't remember the ending, probably fell a sleep I'll have to watch it again.
On a side note looking through vids on You tube they created an AI and an AI friend, one of the first things they did was create their on langue so they could talk together, the makers of the AI turned then off.

I found the movie again on Hulu, seems like I watched half the movie and didn't get to see the end.  I watched to the end, got a little put off by non linear time and the womans phone call to the Chinese diplomat. But anything is possible in a movie.

Age of Ultron. I bought this movie some time ago, and only just sat down to watch it. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. Lots of action and some great CGI. Story was pretty good too and the characters were all engaging for me.

I watched Ready Player One last night, the film takes place in 2045 and is mostly set in a VR world but some of it is set in the real world, very impressive CGI and entertaining to watch.

Something that stood out to me were the cars in the real world, the ICE cars have been scraped  :yahoo: all you see is electric cars but the best bit was the police cars - they were all Nissan Leaf, good to see the Leaf being used in 2045, I knew the batteries were good but not that good  ;D

The other night I bought an audio book of H.P.Lovecraft's Color out of Space - It's something over an hour long and I enjoyed the story. I found they made a movie of it and with luck it is currently included with Amazon Prime.

The movie is really weird, it's not a direct retelling, more like an modern day slant on the original. It's set in present time and not the 1920s like the original story. I wouldn't say it was faithful, but the central idea is consistent. Anyway, if you like supernatural spooky movies with a few jumps and scares maybe give it a look - I liked it a lot.

...And Tommy Chong said, "Wow! That was pretty Far-Out man!!"

I've made a note of "Color out of Space", one to watch during lockdown
