Title: E3
Post by: Snowcrash on June 10, 2013, 22:31:19 PM
E3 starts tomorrow. Hotly awaiting M$ and Sony's full release of details for their next gen consoles and hopefully Steam's foray into the big boy's domain. Wii U still selling slowly.

Still a fairly large market $18 billion worldwide from $28 billion.

Looks good that game "The Division" and it's made by my favourite games maker Ubisoft.

Hopefully it will be on the PC too, when Ubisoft announce a new game they tend to always show it on the PS3 or now the PS4 so there is hope. They did the same thing for the Assassins games.

Please Ubisoft can we have it for the PC.

That looks like 3-4 player team but could be 1 player and several AI players.
The engine looks very similar to Watch Dogs engine.

Both the new consoles will be x86 based. Sony ditching the cell chip and M$ ditching IBM PowerPC processors. Not sure if they're going for Intel or AMD.
The first blow comes from Sony. It will be selling (apparently) the PS4 for $100 less than the Xbox One. I think that'll be about $500 and $400 respectively. If the Xbox comes with Kinect, then that price is not so bad.
The second blow comes from the Sony corner too. M$ seem to be selling the Xbox on being a media center rather than a gaming machine and as for DRM and second hand games...
