This looks like a neat idea - a search engine that funds the planting of trees from AD revenue.

I've been using it a while and in all honesty it seems to give very good search results.

I don't want to be a stick in the mud but I don't want to encourage more ad's on the internet, the email is filled with ads and they pop up with webpages.  I have to admit that Planting trees is good but at the cost of more ads it is something I don't want.

I understand what you mean about adds, there is already far too many on so many websites, they get very annoying.

However to be fair to the Ecosia Search Engine I see far less adverts on it than I do on Google, been using it a few weeks now, still impressed with it and like I say it has less adds on  :)
