Sounds like we're getting closer to the tech seen in the Syfy channel's show, Continuum. Cool!

I can smear graphite around with my finger. It's very soft. Looks like this would be fine if you're being attacked by a silica sphere hit man. 

Now all we need is a large sheet of graphene.
