Could Intelligent Life Be AI?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDRC63_TanI
At this point in time GPT3 would be the best AI we have, I really don't think a computer finding the next word to put in a sentence is a form of life. Rather interesting that we can create a life style that gives people time to explore so many different possibilities.

That's for sure, Carl but imagine that as powerful as GPT-3 is, it's probably equal to a 3-year-old and in another 10 to 20 years it will "grow up" and actually understand the words and concepts with regard to their usage along with countless other areas of knowledge and wisdom under its belt. Then, it will definitely be a force to be reckoned with...or not!
It also makes one ponder just how many "GPT-20's" there might be? Other nations/countries will no doubt get and develop their version of the GPT platform. Things might end up with GPT's fighting GPT's. Wonder if there might be any hoomans left?
Just my take...
Here's a thought, maybe AI is a natural result of evolution.
It seems to me that technology leading to superintelligence holds the key to all the big questions.
Good video
I think AI (GPT3) will lead to large investment in building robots, we move a way from slaves and animals and use mechanical devises to do the work for us. With all the AI being used in elec cars we end up with a safer form of transportation.

Yes a good example, AI is being used now to make our lives easier and safer :)
Amazon Alexa seems like another good example to me too, I use it multiple times every day.
