I heard they were thinking of building an island in the Severn estuary as a space port.
We're not near the equator so no good for sat launches. Sub orbital tourist flights ok though.
Doubt they would get away with the severn due to ecological reasons, this already stopped recent plans for power generation in the area.
Lossiemouth would be ideal though, a long runway already in place there although it would rather depend on the Scots independence referundums results.......
